Flèche & Chamois sign-up
These events count towards the SkiOpen rankings (national ski rankings).
For those with a competitive streak or those curious to test their skills, Les Orres ski school organises the Flèche and Chamois runs every week during the school holidays.
For the uninitiated, these two events are slaloms with a few special features:
- The Flèche is a giant slalom on skis, lasting around 40 seconds, with between 20 and 35 gates and a difference in altitude of between 200 and 250m, allowing you to earn a medal based on your time.
- The Chamois is a special slalom event lasting around 30 seconds, with between 30 and 40 gates and a difference in altitude of between 120 and 200 m. You'll earn your medal according to the time you achieve.

Would you like to take your Flèche test?
- Come along on Thursdays and Fridays during the Christmas and February holidays.
- For those lucky enough to be on holiday from 24 February to 11 March: Arrows from Tuesday to Friday!
